W. Ross Grogg, IV
Ross Grogg represents clients before the Virginia General Assembly, and legislative and executive branch agencies. During the General Assembly session, client’s count on Mr. Grogg to monitor daily legislative developments and provide detailed weekly updates regarding legislation that affects each client. Outside the General Assembly session, Mr. Grogg organizes political event participation and contribution participation for the firm’s clients. Mr. Grogg also coordinates private events hosted by Kemper Consulting throughout the year.
A graduate of the College of William and Mary with a Bachelor of Arts in Government, Mr. Grogg went to work for the McWaters for Senate campaign as their Political Director in May of 2009. After a successful campaign, he served as the Senator’s legislative aide and campaign manager. As the McWaters’s campaign’s first full time staffer, Mr. Grogg was integral in the campaign’s early organization and operational structure. In 2010 he was named to Aristotle’s Republican Campaign Dream Team for his work on the McWaters campaign. Mr. Grogg is the Chairman of the Virginia Beach Young Republicans, Assistant Commissioner for the Blue Ridge Hockey Conference, Treasurer of the Promise Places charity, and serves on the VPAP Young Associates Committee and the William and Mary Young Guarde Council.
In December of 2013, Mr. Grogg graduated from the Sorensen Institute for Political Leadership’s Political Leaders Program.
Grogg grew up in Millbrook, New York, graduated from Kent School in Kent, Connecticut and now lives in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
